St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church will present the DVD Series “The Bible and the Virgin Mary” to Parishioners. This is a dynamic twelve part video series that beautifully explains the Catholic truths about Our Lady showing how she has been a part of God’s plan to bring salvation to the world since the beginning of time. St Francis Church has subscribed to “Formed” which offers Catholic content such as The Bible and the Virgin Mary. Although St. Francis Parishioners can view the DVD Series on their own computer at home, group meetings offer the advantage of socializing and sharing information and ideas with others. The twelve sessions will be offered in two six week time periods. We will do six weeks, break for the holidays, and resume in January for six more weeks. The sessions will be on Tuesday mornings after the 8:30 AM Mass, starting at about 9:10 AM in DeSales Hall and lasting for about one hour. The DVD presentation is approximately 30 minutes long with another 30 minutes for discussion. The first session begins on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 with the other sessions on succeeding Tuesdays.
